Description
PLUSCO 871 is a high temperature multipurpose graphite grease. It is formulated as a heavy-duty industrial grease with rust, corrosion and extreme pressure additives.
PLUSCO 871 High Temperature Graphite Grease provides a residual film of low coefficient of friction which enhances its recommendation for industrial application. This graphite-based grease forms a lubricating film that prevents metal-to-metal contact by separating frictional surfaces. It is excellent for use where operating temperatures reach up to 525 °F (275 °C).
Application
Areas of application include valve lubrication, couplings, bolts unions, nipples, bull plugs, gaskets, packing, drive chains, gears and pipe threads.
PLUSCO 871 High Temperature Graphite Grease is also recommended for high temperature bearings, cams, industrial machine parts, farm equipment, automotive engine parts, construction equipment, mining equipment and oil and chemical refineries. Iris also used in the oilfield for general lubrication of rig equipment, down-hole tools and instruments.
