Description
- PLUSCO 871 is a high temperature multi-purpose graphite grease formulated as a heavy-duty industrial grease with rust, corrosion, and extreme pressure additives.
- PLUSCO 871 provides a residual film of low coefficient of friction for industrial applications. This graphite-based grease forms a lubricating film that helps prevent metal-to-metal contact by separating frictional surfaces.
- PLUSCO 871 is excellent for use where operating temperatures reach up to 525 °F (275 °C).
Application
Areas of application include valve lubrication, couplings, bolts unions, nipples, bull plugs, gaskets, packing, drive chains, gears, and pipe threads. PLUSCO 871 is also recommended for high temperature bearings, cams, industrial machine parts, farm equipment, automotive engine parts, construction equipment, mining equipment, oil and chemical refineries, and general oilfield lubrication of rig equipment, down-hole tools, and instruments.
