Description
PLUSCO 872AG Arctic Grade Valve Lubricant is a valve lubricant formulated with a high performance calcium sulfonate base especially designed for low temperature applications. PLUSCO 872AG is formulated with a corrosion inhibiting additive package. This graphite-based grease forms a lubricating film that prevents metal-to-metal contact by separating frictional surfaces for high performance under heavily loaded applications. PLUSCO 872AG is recommended for severe industrial applications where shear stability, high load carrying capacity, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and a wide operating temperature range are required.Application
Areas of application include valve lubrication, couplings, bolts unions, nipples, bull plugs, gaskets, packings, drive chains, gears, and pipe threads. PLUSCO 872AG is also recommended for high temperature bearings, cams, industrial machine parts, farm equipment, automotive engine parts, construction equipment, mining equipment, oil and chemical refineries, and general oilfield lubrication of rig equipment, down-hole tools, and instruments.
