PLUSCO 872AG Arctic Grade Valve Lubricant is a valve lubricant formulated with a high performance Calcium Sulfonate base especially designed for low temperature applications. PLUSCO 872 AG is formulated with a corrosive inhibiting additive package. This graphite-based grease forms a lubricating film that prevents metal-to-metal contact by separating frictional surfaces so as to provide highest performance under heavy loaded applications. PLUSCO 872 AG is recommended for the most severe applications in industry. PLUSCO 872 AG's excellent performance, oxidation resistance and a wide operating temperature range makes it suitable under any application in which a shear stable, high load carrying, corrosion resistant grease is required.
Application
Areas of application include valve lubrication, couplings, bolts unions, nipples, bull plugs, gaskets, packings, drive chains, gears and pipe threads.
PLUSCO 872AG Arctic Grade Valve Lubricant is also recommended for high temperature bearings, cams, industrial machine parts, farm equipment, automotive engine parts, construction equipment, mining equipment and oil and chemical refineries. It is also used in the oilfield for general lubrication of rig equipment, down-hole tools and instruments.
