Description
PLUSCO 831 Silicone Base Lubricating Grease is manufactured using a premium quality stable silicone fluid. It is chemically inert and enables applications that far exceed that of conventional mineral base lubricants.
PLUSCO 831 Silicone Base Lubricating Grease is recommended for application to O-rings and other rubber seals made with various synthetic polymers. PLUSCO 831 Silicone Base Lubricating Grease allows O-rings, gaskets and seals to remain flexible and will not dry out thus providing a continuous seal.
Application
PLUSCO 831 Silicone Base Lubricating Grease is recommended for application to inner components of downhole tools and accessories for ease of operation and disassembly. PLUSCO 831 Silicone Base Lubricating Grease improves tool performance and allows easy removal of seal nipples, packer plugs and various accessories from the packer bore. It is also recommended as a non-conductive lubricant. PLUSCO 831 Silicone Base Lubricating Grease is compatible with an extended range of temperature from -60 °F to 400 °F. It is extremely resistant to the corrosive effects of carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) often found in the environment os wireline operations.
