Description
- PLUSCO 202 Thread Sealant is a tubing, casing and running compound. It is water repellant, eliminates corrosion, and is not affected by acids, oils, caustics, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), or salt water. It provides fast, non-galling, non-seizing make-up and break-out on API Threads, Premium Connections, and commonly used industrial connections. It is recommended for leak free tubing, casing runs, Christmas trees, hydrostatic testing of tubular connections, or anywhere absolute protection is required.
- PLUSCO 202 Thread Sealant provides a residual film with a low coefficient of friction for industrial applications. This graphite-based grease forms a lubricating film that prevents metal-to-metal contact by separating frictional surfaces. It is excellent for operating temperatures up to 525 °F (275 °C) and exceeds technical performance requirements of API 5A3.
Application
PLUSCO 202 Thread Sealant provides an anti-galling seal on a wide range of threads including stainless steel, nickel, fiberglass, chrome, brass, copper, as well as many other materials.
